LOCATION: Sector space, aestroid field
MISSION: Followed up on information provided by someone in contact with Counsellor Eunbi. Attempt to locate new terror group.
OUTCOME: Engaged in combat with a contingent of vessels. Prisoner taken from escape pod from one of the destroyed vessels.

NARRATIVE: Counsellor Eunbi, had received information from a contact that she knows and trusts with information of a supposed base in an asteroid field, where ships from the new terror group targeting inter-species hybrids would station themselves as a staging ground for attacks on civilian vessels.
Myself, Captain Nimitz, Captain Tycho (Along with Lieutenant Commander Kermit), took our ships to investigate this area. Strength in numbers as our last encounter proved that this group have very powerful ships that can match our own toe to toe in combat. Captain Nimitz sent a squadron of fighters to investigate first, we quickly lost contact with them and as soon as our ships came out of warp we were in engaged in combat with 25 fighters and three vessels, 2 crusiers and one very large battle ship. At this point Commander Al Firwan had arrived a gave assistance to our task force.
After sometime we were able to overpower the group and substantial damage to one of the cruisers and it was destroyed, however the other ships were quickly able to collect the escape pods and left the system leaving no warp trail that could be followed. Shortly after there was an explosion in the asteroid field which we believe to be their base of operations in this system. As before they left no evidence for us to collect, however Captain Tycho was able to locate an escape pod that was left behind with one very injured crew member on board.
We have taken the crew member aboard as a prisoner and have transferred them to DS13 for medical treatment and and questioning.
RECOMMENDATION: Question prisoner about this terror group and draw out as much information as possible. Furthermore, Counsellor Eunbi is being reluctant to share who her contact is and why they gave her information, likely she needs to be questioned about this as well.
