NARRATIVE Vessels USS Dragon and USS Argama were tasked with dealing with ongoing piracy within the region. The pirates were Orion in nature, possessing two large cruisers as well as a larger flagship of significant firepower.

To deal with these pirates, a plan was laid forth. The plan involved the use of an experiment Vulcan gravitational devide which disabled FTL travel. As bait, three freighters (uncrewed) were sent forth as a means of capturing the pirates attention. Further, the plan was amended to where a virus would effectively disable hostile vessels. After a lengthy briefing, personnel reported to their stations.

The engagement against the pirates was fierce. However, the plan laid forth was ultimately successful. The virus, transmitting during the initial hailing broadcast, was successfully delivered to the pirates. Further, the experimental gravitation device proved to ultimately accomplish the task. Vessels USS Dragon, USS Argama, as well as the USS Dragon’s parasite ship USS Shenlong were able to force the hostile pirate ships to surrender.

RECOMMENDATION Further investigation into the stability of Azedi Confederacy Space is required. These pirates were, further, rather well armed.

RECOGNITION Recognition should be given to CAPT Tungsten and CAPT Grant for devising this cunning plan. Further, recognition should be given to DR Sindari, who devise the computer virus. More casulaties would have been sustained without this critical link provided by DR Sindari.

NARRATIVE This is an addendum to the report filed by Commander Nathes of the Romulan Republic. This officer would like the opportunity to highlight the exemplary actions of those involved with the mission.

RECOMMENDATION The pirate vessels, seized and towed, should be examined for information and any misappropriated goods that need to be returned. Prisoners interrogated for information regarding their base and activities.

RECOGNITION This officer would like to point out that all those contributing to this mission performed exceptionally well. The creativity, professionalism, and technical execution of their duties should be an example to all. Of particular note would be Doctor Sindari Te’elis and Lieutenant Niraj for their work on a computer virus to greatly aid in disabling the lead enemy ship, Lieutenant Wind-People for her skill in using the ship’s phaser lance to destroy the main power conduit of the lead enemy ship while in motion without destroying the ship, Commander Nathes of the Romulan Republic Navy for lending her skill in commanding the attached escort ship USS Shenlong, and putting on a clinic for tactical and flight operation of the craft, and of course Captain Serah Grant, for devising the plan at risk to herself, but managing it well to the health and benefit of herself, her ship, and her crew.
