BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS

The Algrun line of Vorta command administrator clones, created in 2395 to replace the failing and obsolescent Yelgrun line. Rather than take Algrun straight to the diplomatic corp, the Founders felt Algrun needed seasoning via front line service in the Dominion military. He was assigned to the fleet as a commander-in-training, serving aboard Jem'Hadar attack ships and assisting in leading the Jem'Hadar crew.

Algrun saw action during the Artos V incident, when an unknown vessel attacked the ship he served, D.V. 28762. The flight recorder was too corrupted to gain a positive ID, but Algrun's remains were found and his line was deemed redeemable.

He was cloned again, re-trained, then given command of D.V. 15551, an infamous ship from the Dominion War. His career would consist of patrols and courier missions until the Hur'q invasion, where D.V. 15551 participated in multiple engagements. The Triple Nickle's luck ran out during a particularly fierce engagement, when the ship was boarded and Attendants swarmed the ship. Though the Jem'Hadar fought hard for his protection, they were overwhelmed. Algrun picked up a polaron rifle and joined the fight, dying with many of his Jem'Hadar charges.

His actions earned praise from his surviving soldiers. Once cloned back he displayed loyalty and familiarity to his Jem'Hadar crew. This earned him a reprimand, but one of the fleet's lowest insubordination scores.

For further seasoning, the Founders deemed it necessary to send Algrun to 38th Fleet, Alliance Operations.

NOTE: Founders find Algrun 3's loyalty to his Jem'Hadar charges, and his insistence on learning some of the basic weapons handling skills reserved for Jem'Hadar, to be an eccentricity, but one to monitor as an experiment, to see if such a deviation will result in a more effective Vorta leader.
