For the past couple days, we've been releasing some of the building blocks of our new exploration system. Today, we start putting it together.

The first two sectors are partially explored, with a few systems listed that some of you might recognize from previous RPs. There are also a few brand new systems to learn about, as well as almost two dozen unexplored points of interest. These points will be explored through RP over the coming months with a combination of scheduled events and available assignments.
The second two sectors are completely uncharted (unnamed, even) prior to Argo's involvement, and it's up to YOU to decide what we find there! These areas are completely open for member-driven events (mission briefs) and mini-events (assignments), both through members GMing directly and admin staff GMing with the help of the Plot Database.
A fun perk of using our own sector block is that we can keep the map of the area up to date with the fleet's latest discoveries. Contributing is simple: just include the location of your point of interest (sector, grid) when posting your mission brief or available assignment. The admin team will do our best to add new points to the map in a timely manner. If you want your location on the map before you make your post or have any other special requests, you can send a message to me (Kermit) and I'll do my best to get it on there for you asap. After the RP's finished and a report or AAR posted, we'll update the map again with the final discovery!
For those of you who may be confused, or don't want to read all the details, I present to you the Argo Exploration TL;DR Version:
1. Use the Plot Database subforum to submit ideas that you think you might like to see Argo encounter in future RP events. The admin team will pull from this database to create exploration mission plots that we will GM periodically going forwards.
2. Use the Available Assignments subforum to post exploration missions that YOU want to GM yourself. (Full, scheduled events can still be posted to Mission Briefs as usual)
3. To undertake an exploration mission (outside of scheduled events), accept an Available Assignment and follow the instructions in the thread!
