We have an upcoming event for everyone. Since I have been in the fleet, I have seen some amazing, fun and inspiring events. Its really been a blast! To show recognition for all that has gone into these, we are going to be conducting an IC Awards Ceremony.
At a yet to be announced date (hopefully here in the month of November) the Fleet will hold an IC Awards Ceremony. Awards will be for IC actions of players and presented in an IC format. Best of all?
YOU GET TO SUBMIT THE AWARDS!
That's right, the awards we will be presenting will be awards submitted by you for other players. How does it work? Well, below is a template for submitting an award. Fill it out and send it to me via enjin forum. I will consolidate the awards and admin team will prepare the remarks for the presentation.
What awards are available for submission? We are trying to stick to canon awards as best as possible. The current list of awards we are looking at are as follows:
Christopher Pike Medal of Valor
Star Cross
Starfleet Decoration for Gallantry
Palm Leaf of Axanar Peace Mission
Cochrane Medal of Excellence
Starfleet Medal of Commendation
All of them can be found on the Memory Alpha page and are awards recognized by Star Trek Lore. Feel free to look them up on Memory Alpha for brief descriptions.
Also, if your character doesn't fit the profile for submitting someone for an award, but you think a character really deserves one, feel free to submit one as an NPC.
Finally, its going to happen that some people are going to get nominated, but be unable to attend the event . That's ok, we are working on something for that too, so feel free to submit with reckless abandon!

Captain Gorshk
Award Type:
Starfleet Decoration for Gallantry
Reason For Award:
On stardate XXXXXXX (we don't worry about stardates for this, can make them all match if need be) Captain Smith was conducting escort of civilian freighters with her vessel, the USS Poland, when they were attacked by three Klingon bird of prey. She acted with incredible heroism, despite the over-matched odds, Commanding her vessel, the Poland critically damaged one Bird Of Prey and chased the other two attackers away before any civilian freighters were damaged. She also showed compassion in tending to wounded Klingon soldiers who were rescued from the crippled Bird of Prey. Her heroism and dedication to duty reflect great credit upon himself, the Task Force and Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets.
