I won’t blame you if you don’t want to hear from me. In your position, it’s likely I wouldn’t either.
For what it’s worth, I am sorry for what I did. It was never my intention to harm or frighten you or any member of your crew, but I regret any distress or trouble I caused nonetheless. I’ve been seeing a therapist who has helped me to understand where my reasoning went wrong. He encouraged me to reach out to you and tell you that I’m sorry.
My time is up tomorrow and I will be returning to Deep Space 13 soon to collect my ship. The terms of my parole will keep me coming back to the station regularly for a while. If you would like to talk about this further face-to-face, or just yell in my face, or whatever you think would be cathartic for you, I am willing to meet at the time and place of your choosing.
