Hiii, Argo.

In anticipation of the winter season where we usually do some social shenanigans, we're introducing something new this year: an IC gift exchange for Argo officers. This is going to work just about exactly how you might expect.

1. All OOCly-interested players should submit their character names onto this thread. We will be accepting submissions through about mid-November. Let's see... November 15th? Yeah, that sounds good. :p

2. Names will go into the proverbial hat. At the end of the submission period, I will randomly pull names and assign every entered character another person at random and privately send you a forum message that tells you who your character will be locating a gift for.

3. You will then have all of the rest of November and December to RP the delivery of the gift, as well as any lead up or investigative omg-what-should-I-get-them-what-do-they-like sort of things. The gift can be anything, serious or goofy or whatever you like.

You can deliver it in person and reveal your identity or you can have someone else deliver it in your stead and keep it Secret Santa-ish. Whatever you like, as long as a gift gets to the person that is supposed to get one.

4. We will definitely have a social event that you might be able to wait for, to deliver your gift in person, but since there's no guarantee that your target will be in attendance, please plan accordingly.

5. And yes, when it's implemented ICly, it'll be 'mandatory' for officers to participate, for all of those who have officers who don't like being friendly. So don't let your character's bah-humbugness prevent you from entering. :)

So please feel free to submit your chars to the thread. You may submit more than one character, bearing in mind that means you will also need to DELIVER two gifts as well as receive them. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I made an edit to someone else's post here, but I wanted to state for clarification to all that this is an IC event and thus will only be conducted for the TF Argo members, only. If SFK wants to do a gift exchange as well, then that can be organized in another thread. We are going to keep names on this thread for TF Argo characters only. Thanks -Dae

Tal'ahnay finds the exchange of gifts an unsual way to celebrate the birth of an ancient mythical figure. However, he sees it as an interesting opportunity to learn more about Earth culture. He's in.

This is a friendly reminder bump that we're halfway through the time period by which you have to deliver your character's gift(s). If you've forgotten who you're supposed to give a gift to, check your enjin mail!

Remember that this are IN CHARACTER gifts. No real items are necessary! If you need help/ideas, please feel free to reach out to me.
