Hello Captain, hope things are going well.
We had a little incident last night while receiving some cargo aboard station. Apparently a crate of bio-mimetic gel was diverted from the cargo bay where we were supposed to pick it up to a different docking bay. I’d have been inclined to write it off as a simple mistake, if not for the gel cannisters being found stuffed into a plasma conduit behind a wall panel.
Unfortunately as we’d already signed transfer of custody for the shipment before realizing the problem, we’re obligated to take point on investigating. Besides, given that the docking bay in question was empty, I suspect our would-be thief may have already left the station. My Security Chief has been coordinating with your officers and will continue to do so, but I wanted to give you a heads up that we’re playing in your sandbox.
