MEDICAL HISTORY

AUTOPSY REPORT

Time of Death: 91336.538 (20:04 Local Time)
Cause of Death: Nadion exposure consistent with particle weapon discharge
Notes: Subject appears to have been in extraordinary physical health at the time of death, with almost all organs functioning as if they were those of a man half his age. There is no evidence of any of the subject's prior injuries, in direct contradiction to his established medical records. Evidence of healing at the edges of superficial burns to both the anterior and posterior chest indicate that a considerable amount of phaser fire was endured premortem. Subject's adrenal glands were highly stimulated at the time of death, and there is evidence to suggest that his body chemistry had begun to adapt to the higher hormone levels. A small, unhealed puncture wound was located at the base of the posterior skull. All of these findings are consistent with his long-term inhabitation by a neural parasites colloquially known as a 'bluegill.' It is likely that the subject was first infected at least a month prior to death. The subject was deceased prior to the parasite's departure from his body.

Medical Examiner: LT C. Dorsey, MD (Pathologist, Deep Space 13)
