Biographical Information:

Born to Father Jonathan Lynch (Galway Institute) and Rear-Admiral Katherine Lynch (Ret.) in the year ####. Fabian spent his early childhood in his birthplace of Galway, Ireland. Johnathan Lynch worked as a senior warp theorist at the Galway Institute, while his mother was assigned to Starfleet Command. When Fabian turned seven, his mother was assigned to command the U.S.S. Hannibal and he lived aboard with her. Fabian remained aboard the starships his mother was assigned to command until, at the age of eighteen, he enrolled in the Academy.

Fabian graduated from the Academy in the top 35% of his class. He received top marks in Starship Operations, Diplomacy, Starship Combat, and Phaser Rifle Marksmenship. He also received average or below average in Mathematics, Xeno-linguistics and Away Team Management. After graduation, he was assigned to the U.S.S. Zhukov, engineering division. Fabian received high marks on his fitness reports and was assigned to head one of the damage control parties. Eventually he was promoted to Lieutenant and transferred to the U.S.S. Crazyhorse, engineering division. Fabian was assigned to Shift Leader for Gamma Shift. During a rescue operation on the Marcos XII colony, Lt. Lynch was able to develop a unique solution to prevent the natural disaster from causing further loss of life. Due to his actions, he was awarded a Commendation for Excellence.

Fabian was then assigned to the U.S.S. Bremen. While assigned there, his first officer and chief engineer both recommended that he be placed on the Command Track. Lt. Lynch was then transferred to Operations Officer, Beta Shift. After receiving excellent fitness reviews, Fabian was promoted to Lt. Commander and eventually assigned to Alpha Shift. Commander Lynch was then transferred to the U.S.S. Maryland, serving as First Officer.

Commander Fabian served under Captain Tullius for two years and received honorable mentions in the Captain's Starfleet communiques. Commander Lynch also received a Letter of Caution in his file for a failed away mission on Centarus IV, that resulted in two wounded. The U.S.S. Maryland was involved in a bloody battle with the Jem'adar in the Beta Ursae Sector, in which Captain Tullius was killed. Fabian received a battlefield promotion to Captain. Captain Fabian was awarded with a Commendation for Excellence for his role in a First Contact Mission on Idran II, which was previously thought to be uninhabited.

While on patrol in Sector 315, the U.S.S. Maryland received a distress call from a civilian freighter that said it was under attack. When the U.S.S. Maryland warped in, it was just in time to see a Borg cube destroy the last of the freigher. The Maryland was then immediately caught in a Borg tractor beam. What ensued was a long and bloody battle. After sustaining heavy damage to the U.S.S. Maryland, Borg began to beam over on board. Vicious hand-to-hand combat broke out on the bridge. The chief engineer was finally able to break the Borg's tractor beam and Captain Lynch was able to order an emergency warp prior to losing consciousnesses. The U.S.S. Maryland was severely damaged and numerous crew were killed or missing. Captain Lynch sustained significant injuries during the battle. Following a medical and psychological profile, Captain Lynch was pulled off front-line duties. He was assigned to Utopia Planitia to oversee construction of the U.S.S. Trieste. Once the Trieste was completed, Captain Lynch was given command of the U.S.S. Thunderer.

Captain Lynch was recently transferred to Task Force Argo.
