There has been a mistake with my painting
I bid on the one with the man pulling the bird’s tail feathers because it was funny
The bird did not like its tail feathers being pulled and one of them came loose so the man fell on his behind and frowned
This is not the painting that was delivered to me, though
In this painting the man is slightly smiling and the bird does not care that its tail feathers are being pulled
It is not funny
Please send me the correct painting so I can look at it and laugh
I will give you this one back if you want it

Unfortunately we are completely unaware of what you could be speaking of. After checking our inventory and shipping manifests, we can confirm that the correct painting was shipped and on display at Deep Space 13 for the entirety of your silent auction phase.
Our Foundation is not responsible for the paintings after they leave our possession, so you will need to contact Deep Space 13 staff if there is an issue. We sincerely hope your mix-up is resolved!

Dear Commander Mohadeb,
After carefully studying your included attachment, it brings us no pleasure to conclude that the painting that was delivered to you after it left our possession does appear to be a forgery of mediocre quality. Again, we can confirm that we no longer have the original, authentic painting in our possession: our representatives accompanied the painting shipment to Deep Space 13 and confirmed their safe arrival aboard the station and into their display spaces for the silent auction.
Therefore the authentic painting was on the station and we do not bear any further responsibility for its safety. We do hope you find it, all of these pieces are treasures!
