The Ember Parlor
Trill Jazz Cabaret - $$$
For those slightly more upscale night outs, the Ember Parlor features live jazz entertainment nightly, starting from gamma shift through closing. Open for lunch and dinner, their offerings are primarily Trill in origin, but with inspirations from other cultures for a fusion menu that has options for both the culinarily adventurous and the not. A late afternoon happy hour precedes their dinner service and their lengthy cocktails menu is much acclaimed.
Dress code enforced.
Kabloom
Flower and Plant Boutique - $$
The greenthumb’s favorite place to go and also many a hapless forgetful boyfriend’s savior, Kabloom boasts an enormous collection of living flora for sale, from the familiar to the most alien. All varieties are legal to own and they cater to both the neophyte gardener to the exotic caretaker. For items not kept in stock, Kabloom has the connections to order them for delivery for your pickup in shop. No plastic or fake varieties are available here, though the shopkeepers do keep a collection of replicator patterns next to the register for the desperate.
Zen Lucent
Nail Care Salon - $$
A common enough sight on most major Federation installations (Risa and Betazed, for other nearby locations), Zen Lucent is popular chain of beauty wellness salons that provide a wide range of skin and nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and paraffin infusion treatments. Their civilian staff is supplemented by politely friendly, non-sentient holographic nail technicians who are capable of handling the majority of basic services, while more sophisticated nail jobs remain the purview of physical consultants. Appointment reservations are required for the more advanced services.
