Vanilla or Bust
Dessert Parlor - $
Arguably the most popular dessert vendor on station, Vanilla or Bust offers a rotating roster of 101 ice cream and sorbet flavors, of which they feature fifteen daily. In a cone or in a cup, milkshakes, malts, parfaits and sundaes are all possible mediums through which these cold treats can be delivered, toppings optional. Vanilla or Bust also features a small menu of more substantive desserts, including ice cream cupcakes, crepes (sweet fillings only), and chocolate fondue with fruit.
They accommodate deliveries to officer quarters if you meet the minimum order amount (at least two pints worth of ice cream).
Koralo’s
Ktarian Restaurant - $$
A modestly sized restaurant specializing in Ktarian cuisine, which is known for its earthy, stewy, pungent and tart flavors. Though Ktarian food is traditionally eaten with one’s hands, Koralo’s does allow reticent customers to use utensils and those who do only receive dirty looks from that one chef who only works on Tuesdays. Don’t leave before you try the Ktarian pudding, which Koralo’s has won local awards for.
Customers place orders at the counter and take a number placard, whereupon a server brings the relevant dishes when it’s done.
D’Inverno
Andorian-Italian Fusion Bistro - $$
This restaurant’s decor is a little more rustic, with stone and fir wood furnishings and quilted tapestries that evoke the frugality of early Andorian lifestyles. The food is a fine contrast, though, with a menu of hearty stews, pasta offerings with meat and vegetables, and delicious garlic flatbread to mop up all the sauces. If you eat in with young children, the servers will offer your party small buckets of crayons and invite you to draw with them on the paper placemats on every table. But as it turns out, they are also happy to offer crayons to big children, too.
