Le Tea will reign supreme you cretin!
*Smacks the coffee fiends*
Certainly tea. I cant stand coffee since my time as a office trainee.
If you're in it for the caffeine, Coffee is your best bet. Especially if you have a lot of Caffeine in your diet. If you drink a lot of coffee and stuff like Mountain Dew, then Tea won't give you the amount your body has become accustomed to. If you don't, then Tea will give you enough. At least that's been my experience. But it depends on the tea crop.
What makes Tea better in my opinion, is the possible long term health benefits. Studies are still being done, but it's believed that the Antioxidants in tea help to prevent certain kinds of cancer. And I've found that my body reacts better to a good tea. I have more energy for longer, and I don't get that crash that many (but not all) people get from Coffee. The Antioxidants help it absorb differently. I'm no chemist, I can't give you the details, but I drink tea every day. Used to drink coffee. And I've found that I just feel generally better with tea. Plus, it just tastes better in my opinion. Pineapple tea. Ever had Pineapple coffee? Sounds gross.
And the whole "Coffee has more Caffeine" thing isn't always true. Turns out, it depends on the tea. Certain crops of tea have as much caffeine as coffee. It depends on things like rainfall, climate, etc. The same type of tea can have different caffeine content if it's grown in two different places. I've found a specific crop of Lapsang Souchong that seems to give me as much of a kick in the pants as Mountain Dew does.
Also, this is all about loose leaf tea. Bagged tea is bad... You always want loose leaf.

Aside from the occasional glass of iced tea, I don't drink either =x
Go water Go!
Isn't tea just water with some bits leaked into it?
