BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS

Formally a quieter and more reserved officer, Abraham has found a quiet path of success up the career ladder. Now later in his career he has taken a more abrasive style of leadership.

Born 2387 on New Amsterdam colony the child of two starfleet officers it was the logical choice for him to follow after them. Upon acceptance to Starfleet Academy at 18 Abraham took to Command school.

In 2409 Abraham was commissioned ensign and posted to the U.S.S. Albatross. His time aboard the Albatross was fairly unremarkable, however he took cross training opportunities in both ground tactical command and scientific command endeavors. The ensign would remain on the Albatross until 2411 when he transferred to the U.S.S. Harpy with a promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade.

After a year of service aboard the U.S.S. Harpy, he saw himself promoted in 2412 to the rank of Lieutenant and assigned to the bridge's third executive shift. In this position he thrived and when he became eligible again in 2415 he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and the position of Executive Officer. During his time on the Barbara and in his capacity as executive officer he saw three different Captains receive promotion or transfer to advanced vessels. Many of them have credited Abraham's radical ability to adapt and improve efficiency on the Barbara. With his assignment on the Barbara, he earned the nickname 'Career Officer' not because he was in for life but because he made them with those who would be paired with him.

In 2417 his hard work was recognized again with his promotion to Commander. 2418 saw his transfer to the 38th Fleet 'Argo' and to the U.S.S. Victory where he would serve as executive officer before being appointed acting Commanding Officer with the promotion of the ship's Captain Emery Quint to Rear Admiral. Commander Cotte would then pursue a second transfer to the U.S.S. Vanguard a noble class vessel under Captain Martin Wilkes.
