NARRATIVE Sensors detected an apparently abandoned alien probe moving through station-controlled space. On this officer’s authority a team was dispatched to inspect and recover the device if possible. Crewmen Ovem and Ford volunteered for the task and successfully intercepted the device aboard a Class 7 shuttlecraft.

RECOMMENDATION No further action warranted.
