OUTCOME: Vessel seized. Captian killed. Contraband seized.

NARRATIVE: On stardate 98320.8 scout vessel 8648 initiated antiproton sweep in an undisclosed location in the Doza sector and detected a cloaked vessel of klingon make. Vessel 8648 initiated pursuit of suspect vessel and disabled said vessel. First Talman'ix initiated boarding action. The crew responded with hostility and the appropriate response was administered. Unfortunately the captain of the vessel did not surrender peacefully and was killed in the subsequent skirmish. Examination of the ships cargo revealed that the ship was hauling vast amounts of alliance weapons. The intended recipient was Educator Liffringen. A hardliner among the Xedi government. More detailed examinations of the captains logs revealed that the ship was hired by a shell company that had been established by the klingon house Gret'loth in an attempt to mask their backing of the Xedi government.
RECOMMENDATION: Continue efforts the mitigate klingon involvement in the conflict.
