LOCATION: Founder’s Wisdom, Prisoner Cell block 1

MISSION: Interrogation of Xedi terrorists

OUTCOME: 10 Xedi terrorists were processed as POW. No complications arose.

KEY PERSONNEL:

Bro'une (npc)

NARRATIVE: Following the Attack on the USS Shackleton, the founder’s wisdom came into the possession of terrorists hailing from the cruiser that attacked the shackleton. After receiving no orders on what to do with the terrorist for several days I elected to follow typical Dominion protocol and have them processed as prisoners-of-war before transferring them back to the Dominion for long-term containment in a prisoner-of-war camp.

Per Regulation, all the prisoners were interrogated using mental probes. A painless form of memory extraction that we believe far more effective and less gruesome than other forms of enhanced interrogation.

From the mental probes we gathered the following relevant information from each individual

  • POW 1-4 these 4 were all members of the boarding party that attacked the USS shackleton. These individuals defected to the Rebellion from the legitimate governments military forces. They possess advanced military training from that government. They also were involved in passing on that knowledge to new recruits in the rebellion, and training them. Their brain scans show that they are not an outlier. There is a well trained, core of troops involved in this rebellion. And they are involved in the training of new troops
  • POW 5 - this person one of the ship's tactical officers, specifically the one who was on the bride during the attack. From them, we were able to extract an incomplete, yet detailed diagram of the ship's systems. These diagrams from the person's memory show the extent to which Klingon technology has been integrated into the ship's design. The weapon system, Shields, structural Integrity field, sensors and propulsion have all been upgraded using Klingon technology. We were also able to extract from his mind Tactical training he underwent. This lets us understand the terrorists tactical playbook and predict the moves in battle. For example every Cruiser has two boarding teams at the ready, during a combat situation
  • POW 6 - 7 Both of these prisoners have specialized knowledge retaining to the maintenance and upkeep of the Klingon technology aboard this ship. I was unable to positively determined who had trained them. Whether it was another member of the Rebellion or the Klingons themselves. But it's clear that they are an important part of the Rebellion infrastructure
  • POW 8 - 9 are both Medics. I make the distinction medic intentionally. They do not possess sufficient medical training to be called doctors beerus and from what I gathered doctors are rare within the Rebellion. This suggests that the Rebellion is mainly attracting people from the lower social and economic classes, and is not drawing much support from the upper middle and upper class. This class characteristic of the Rebellion important to note
  • POW 10 was the ships Helmsman. The highest ranking member that we were able to capture. This individual suggest a great deal of knowledge about the Rebellion. turn off the cruiser in question was upgraded at a secret Shipyard located within the Isep Xedi system. Orbiting around Extradus, one of the moons of Isep Xedi 3, Shipyard was built at a be converted remains of an old mining face. It also acts as the main base of operations for the Rebellion. another disturbing detail is that all the enemies we have encountered have been part of a delaying action. Secondary front. The fleet sailing out from the space is designed to harass supply lines and gain more resources. Well the majority of the Rebellion is on the Homeworld itself. Organizing for an attack on the government. Given the advanced Weaponry they have access to, as well as the skill and training provided by the defecting troops there is very little hope for the legitimate governments. If things are allowed to progress in their current state it is almost an absolute certainty that that government will be overthrown by the rebels.

With the Conclusion of the Processing, the 10 individuals where prepped for transfer to a Dominion supply ship to be sent to the Gamma quadrant.

Admiral Quint, had them transfer to deep space 13 instead after he found out that the Dominion was still in possession of them.

RECOMMENDATION: Decisive action must be taken in order to preserve the stability of this region. The legitimate government of Isep Xedi Stands very little chance at defeating these Rebels. While Federation officers would no doubt cite the “prime directive” and claim this as an internal matter, I am no Federation officer. So my recommendation will not be bound by Starfleet general order 1. You are of course free to ignore my recommendation and do not take my recommendation as evidence that I'm going to act outside of the bounds of what I am authorized to do. I am merely offering an alternative opinion from my outsider perspective.

To put it plainly, I say we take an active measure in tipping the scales in favor of the legitimate government. I have several recommendations and contingencies developed by myself and my DMI attache on how we could best effect the change we wish to see. If it is decided to go down this a planning session would be required.

At this point, doing nothing, is supporting the Rebels. Because nothing short of a miracle, will stop them.
