BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS

The Aravia line had been a fairly obscure one mired in bureaucracy for many years. That changed when Aravia 4's cloning led to psychopathy. She arrived on Betazed during the Dominion War to relieve Kalris as the military governor. For six months under her rule, the planet and its people suffered.

While she continued to encourage Kalris' work on collaborators through personal gain and comforts, she also ruled with a much more bloody hand. Executions increased, random shakedowns of neighborhoods became frequent, and even a suspicion of resistance could have ended in a summary and public execution.

Sometimes, she would even leak the fact that some people were collaborating simply to sow further distrust into the population. She would attempt to involve the Betazed civilian government in most of the plans, whether they wished it or not. This essentially forced the occupied people to partake in their own oppression. Eventually, she would start to order entire hamlets and small towns purged, removing them from the map. Her brutality and bloodlust earned her the moniker 'The Bloody Dictator'.

For six months, the reign of terror endured. "Today, my neighbor. Tomorrow, me." Scared people do desperate things and many people tried to have The Bloody Dictator assassinated. One of them succeeded with a grenade tossed into her hovercar, killing both her and her Jem'hadar bodyguard.

Following reactivation as Aravia 5, she received far more timid assignments, focusing more on harmony than terror. Regardless, the horrors of the occupation remained ingrained in the reputation of the Aravia line.

Whether intentionally or not, Aravia's last few years have been in diplomacy as she dealt with the issues of the exterior. After some time, she was appointed ambassador and sent to Aldebaran. Perhaps it was despite her reputation, or maybe because of it.
