Hullo and cheerful tidings to you all! I am Lieutenant Commander Kit Tyenne, recently appointed commanding officer of the soon-to-be-established Doza Outpost-1 listening post. It is very nice to meet you all and I am excited to be working with you!
Myself and the other Engineering Corps officers have arrived safely on Yuhop and we have taken stock of the situation; it turns out we are already facing our first major setback! About forty percent of the prefab materials from the initial materials drop appear to have manufacturing defects that will lead to incompatibilities with the selected shield array and generator. We can reappropriate the materials for other purposes, but this means we are significantly short in terms of surface paneling!
Will it be possible for DS13 to assist with the shortchange? Otherwise I will need to contact the Corps and submit a new requisition order and I think that will take more time than asking DS13. Please let me know!
In the meantime we have been able to start frame construction and that is proceeding apace.
I do have one other order of business to discuss with everyone who is subscribed on this commsfeed: names!
Yes, that's right, I would like to survey and receive name suggestions for the listening post! Doza Outpost-1, while very official, is not very friendly, so let's change that! If you are interested in submitting a name suggestion, please submit it to me privately and I will take it into consideration for the final poll to go fleetwide.
