BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS
Giloria Dunoon was born in 2370 in Lakarian City on cardassia Prime to Legate Migel Dunoon, and Riso Dunoon.
Gilora attended Starfleet Academy from 2388 to 2292, graduating with specializations in bioscience and pre-medicine. She then graduated from Starfleet Medical Academy in 2396, earning the distinction of valedictorian of her graduating class.
She was commissioned as a lieutenant Junior grade and was first posted to the USS Curiosity, serving in Cardassian space. While there she earned distinctions for both her service as a doctor as well as assisting with diplomatic issues, offering her knowledge of Cardasian politics to the Captain, when consulted. She was promoted to a full Lieutenant in 2401.
In 2404 she accepted a position as Chief medical officer of the USS Texas, and received a promotion to Lieutenant Commander. The USS Texas was stationed on the front line during the federation-klingon war. During this time the doctor received numerous accommodations for her ability to remain calm in stressful situations, and her numerous acts of medical genius.
In 2411 Dr dunoon was kidnapped by the true way and held in their custody for 2 months before being rescued by a Starfleet task force.
The USS Texas was part of the initial task force of operation Delta Rising taking Doctor Dunoon to the Delta quadrant.
In 2413 Dr. Dunoon was promoted to the rank of Commander. She later transferred onto the Odyssey class USS Ulysses serving as their chief medical officer during the iconian war and its aftermath.
In 2416, Doctor Dunoon accepted a position as a professor at Starfleet Medical Academy. She was a professor for two full academic years before transferring to deep space 13.
