In the spirit of US Thanksgiving I decided to try my hand at making a hand turkey again. Typically I reserve these for my mother's birthday back in August but seeing as how I'll be eating turkey tomorrow it only seemed appropriate. I'll be posting two here, but I actually made three today. One at work on our important notices board, which I unfortunately didn't get a picture of.
BUT THEN THERES THESE ONES!
Spoiler: Turkey number one. It was ..Okay. But it really was missing something.Show
Spoiler: Turkey number two. It went a lot better, eventually I realized what was missing was elbow macaroni. After an unfortunate macaroni incident last week I realized I didn't have anymore so I tried to use fettuccine.Show
Now if you've never tried to use fettuccine as a substitute for elbow macaroni on a hand turkey you'll realize that it's just too straight. I didn't get too far.
I welcome and encourage competitive hand turkeys. As a protip, don't use a sharpie because I've got a ring running around my hand now.
