I.K.S. LI'taH
FLEET SUPPORT CARRIER
| The I.K.S. LI'taH is a floating fortress designed to bring the glory and power of the Empire to the most remote reaches of space. It was commisioned by the KDF as one of the first of a new breed of support carrier. Accordingly, it carries advanced sensor and communications arrays alongside it's vast hangars and powerful armaments, so that it can spread the influence of the Empire through its very presence in a sector. The LI'taH's systems are the result of Alliance cooperation, integrating advanced technology created by the brightest minds across the Republic, Empire, and Federation, but applied in a uniquely Klingon way. The LI'taH was designed to wade into battle fearlessly, and take part in long campaigns away from the Empire, and thus the ship is almost entirely self sufficient. It can carry enough supplies on board to function at full capacity for 2 years without a resupply, while it's advanced computer systems can begin to automate systems should it's crew fall below minimum levels. Despite the ships advanced design, it is still unapologetically a warship. It contains only limited scientific apparatus, and It's medical stations are mostly oriented towards triage and healing wounds sustained in battle, not analysing new and unusual diseases. |  |
