First things first, effective immediately, we will be moving our in-game OOC chat from TFA:SFK to a new channel called ArgoChat. Unfortunately, STO's chat system doesn't allow us to simply rename the current channel, so you'll all actually need to go into your chat settings and join the new one.
We have already sent channel invites to all current Argo members, so all you have to do is open up your Chat Settings, go to the Channels Tab, click on the ArgoChat channel and hit "Join" in the bottom left. If you need help with this, you can check out this guide or message a staff member for help. We will keep TFA:SFK open for 30 days to catch any stragglers who may have missed the memo.
There's one other channel that you should be aware of, called ArgoRecruiting. This will replace '38th Argo' as our public-facing channel for applicants and those with questions about the fleet. This channel will be limited to fleet staff members and those Senior Members who have volunteered to help answer applicant questions.

Finally, I'm pleased to announce that the KDF Fleet Zenas Privateers is becoming part of Argo's RP Community. We, in discussion with the ZP leadership, believe this merger is the best thing for both fleets. Over the next few days, you'll start to see more informational posts about ZP's story and setting, as well as hooks for anyone interested in getting involved. For now, here's what you need to know:
- ZP's current admins will be granted a new position within Argo. You'll see them in-game and on the forums labeled as "ZP Staff". They'll continue to be responsible for ZP's content and generally administering the KDF-faction side of things, as part of Argo. - Within 24 hours of registering for forum access (probably much quicker), you'll receive an invite in-game to our fleet OOC channel, called ArgoChat. Please be sure to join us!
- When you get a chance, please take some time to look through Argo's rules and our character/story policy. If you have any questions, feel free to ask a staff member.
- The final step to becoming a full member of Argo is to create a Character Registry Thread for each of your characters. The short of it is, these threads are how we OOCly track each character. This thread determines your character's official position in the fleet, and gives you a place to post any update requests (including promotions, changes in assignment, etc). Full information and instructions can be found HERE.
- We're aware that some of you may already be members of Argo. If this applies to you, all you'll need to do is create a new character registry thread for each of your ZP characters. If you're reading this message some time in the future and you've been kicked for inactivity, please contact a staff member for an expedited re-invite.
