| THE BOX, WITH STRICT INSTRUCTIONS TO BE DELIVERED TO THE CURRENT QUARTERS OF FLEET CAPTAIN PERIM, WAS A RATHER LONG-BUT-NARROW TRANSLUCENT CONTAINER. ITS ROUNDED EDGES HELD THAT SMIDGE OF MODERN FLAVOUR, BUT STILL HAD THE SIMPLICITY OF THE CENTURY'S OLD DESIGN. A BLUE BAND SPREAD ACROSS THE PERIMETER OF THE LID, ABOUT HALF A CENTIMETER INWARDS AWAY FROM THE EDGE, AND THE BAND ITSELF BEING ONLY A THIN CENTIMETER ALSO. PERHAPS HOWEVER, WHAT WAS MOST IMPORTANT, WAS WHATEVER THE CONTAINER HELD. THE LID APPEARED TO HAVE QUITE A SOLID VACUUM-LIKE SEAL, TWO CLASPS HANGING OVER EACH LONGER SIDE SUPPORTED THE TIGHT SEAL. THROUGH THE TRANSLUCENT POLYMER WAS A HAZED DARK BROWN, APPEARING AT FIRST TO BE ONE LONG STRIP, BUT UPON CLOSER INSPECTION MIGHT BE REVEALED AS BEING A NUMBER OF SMALL SQUARES LINED TOGETHER, PERHAPS 5? NO, THAT HAS TO BE SIX... UNLESS EACH SQUARE IS A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT SIZE? BUT I MEAN, WHAT MONSTER WOULD MAKE BROWNIES LIKE THAT. A DROP OF PINK LITTERED THE TOPS OF EACH BROWN EVENLY SIZED SQUARE. Hey, you. I know I've not been around to bug you, this past week. I figured after your stay aboard the October I'd give you some space away from my face, don't want to smother you. So thoughtful, I know! But I've also had a touch of the flu, not sure what but nothing a simple hypospray didn't fix, but have felt a little groggy so... again, have been keeping my distance just a little.
