Summer's Greetings, Armada mates!
With the annual Risa Lohlunat Festival event in full swing, 38th Fleet 'Argo' has begun planning their in character shore leave, complete with mini-events and plenty of casual social RP at a popular resort on one of Risa's many paradisiacal islands. Due to the public venue, we wanted to throw an open invite to all armada RPers who might be interested in meeting or catching up with fellow officers; what better time than when we're all also catching some sun?
Argo will be on Risa from Fri, June 16 to Thurs, June 29, so please come and stop by if you see a number of us online and on the island!
In addition, on June 24th and starting at 4:00 PM Eastern time (click here for timezone conversion helper) Argo will be hosting a summer luau, complete with music (via plug.dj) and a traditional raffle to reward a few lucky guests with some worthwhile game prizes. The luau will continue throughout the evening, so even if you can't make the starting time, it might still be worth dropping by.

THE LUAU HAS STARTED!
We are located in RISA #17 at Qwen's Camp, so be sure to stop by and tune in to our plug.dj room for IC music!
On the northwest corner of the island, two massive party canopies have been placed for the Luau's use, centered around a fire brazier. Under one tent, a dabo table has been set up, complete with a holo-Leeta to host the wagering.
The other contains an open bar with all the regular Risa offerings, and then some. Additionally there is an impressive buffet spread of food across the tables that is constantly being replenished by busy serving employees:

There will be two raffle drawings during the luau! The first will be at 6pm Eastern, and the second at 9pm Eastern. In order to enter, all you need to do is have your character ICly take one a ticket when you arrive at the party. Hold onto your number!
Winners will receive prices both IC and OOC. Stay tuned for details!
