BIOGRAPHY
Born on Andoria in the coldest province to the name Shraz'eres, Jintari was raised on strict Andorian traditions of honesty and spirit. All four of her parents currently serve in the Andorian Defense Force. Set to follow in their footsteps, she was enrolled in the ADF Military school at the age of 14. She excelled in the program, but a friend she met there, Tiren, had aspirations of joining Starfleet to do more than "patrol the same six planets all his life." After graduating at 18, Jintari followed along with protest from her family.
Tactical training seemed the obvious choice as she had studied Andorian tactics for 4 years. Plus, it was the program Tiren joined. Sadly, Tiren's shuttle crashed during a training exercise and he did not survive. Jintari moved back to Andoria after the incident, her progress at the academy put on hold for an entire year before she returned, enrolling in Starfleet Medical. She graduated with a degree in Exobiology, MD.
With Jintari's mix of tactical and medical training, she was immediately sent to the Aurora Colony for residency training. Due to the ongoing conflict, she primarily served as a combat medic for 2 years. Though Starfleet was officially neutral in the conflict, it is recognized that uniforms are blurred on the battlefield and Jintari did what she had to to help both sides. After an extensive review, it was determined that no evidence could be brought to light that proved the relief unit she was part of had fired upon either side. She was promoted to Lieutenant with limited choice of assignment.
