This location is roughly twenty minutes by powerboard from the resort Argo had reserved for their shore leave. The rock outcroppings here have several sea caves.
The first thing people will notice upon entering, however, as they dismount their powerboards and come ashore, is that floating along the shore’s water line are an unfathomable number of glass bottles, in all shapes, sizes, colors. They bob up and down, floating in and out with the tide; some have washed ashore on the beach, while others pile up in rock crevices. Almost all of them seem to have a furled up piece of parchment inside.

Below, some of the messages the Argo personnel left on their visit during shore leave.
T’Liss rise in flight,
to honor the noble dead,
fallen in duty.

You are important. Start where you are.
How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
Something to put in a bottle? What do I leave for someone to find later? Does it make them smile to glimpse a message from the past? I look amid my friends who are gathered here, finding stories and laughs. I see them share with each other, pick on one another, and even a few lovers in the crowd.
We’ve all been through so much, this last year has been hell. Lost friends and lovers, to battle and pride, and yet here we are in the sand and the sun, laughing and picking, not worried about a thing. So I leave for you, this bit of hope I guess. There is light past whatever you face. And it will again be your turn to dance in the sand and sun.
