ALCON,

Effective immediately, the 6th MACO Group is transitioning to a centralized deployment strategy. All MACO Teams operating from 38th Fleet starships are recalled to Deep Space 13. Team Leaders may requisition small craft from Starbase Operations or embark temporarily on fleet starships as needed for transportation on a per-mission basis.

Major Valencia has taken the role of Group Executive Officer and will be the senior MACO representative stationed on DS13. Team Leaders are to report to the Major for day-to-day operations and issues interfacing with the 38th Fleet.

OOC We’re updating how we handle MACOs in Argo, for both players and NPCs. From now on, all MACOs in the fleet will be based on DS13 and deployed on a mission-by-mission basis.

For Player MACOs: You’re moving to the starbase! Your team will now report to @Sam 's MAJ Valencia. You are free to attend any RP event you want to. If someone is bringing a ship, feel free to say that your team’s been assigned to travel on that ship. If you’re going without a ship, you’re free to take a shuttle or runabout from DS13. This should give you more flexibility to participate in RP.

For Captains who have NPC MACOs: Simply put, you can’t have them anymore. Sorry! <3 If you have a mission where it would make sense to deploy a MACO Team, we strongly recommend you invite actual MACO player characters whenever possible. If you really want/need to use an NPC team for whatever reason, have your Captain request one from MAJ Valencia for the duration of the mission.

The guide to MACOs in Argo has been updated to reflect these changes.
