This is quite a surprise to wake up to, but as you already alluded to, it does interest me a great deal. How long will the conference last? The only reason I ask is so I know how many assignments I need to request from my facilitator for Med School. I am CCing my Supervisor Commander Jarnefelt in this communication and Commander Valore, as her ongoing efforts to assist me have been invaluable. Barring any unforeseen issue, I happily accept your invitation to attend the conference. As this will be occurring on my own time I do not wish to utilize DS13 assets like a Runabout and would also like to look into securing Transportation.

The conference takes place over the course of several weeks. I assume you will only attend for a portion of the total duration, but that choice is yours. I’ll attach the full brief on the conference to this reply.
Regarding transportation, I am willing to make arrangements to put you on a warbird for the first leg of your trip. The vessel won’t be able to convey you the entire duration as that would move it far beyond its patrol area, but alternate transport can be arranged from that point on.

After using the night to look over the scheduled events for the Conference, it appears the bulk majority that would be the most educational occurs in the first week. If Transportation via Warbird can be arranged, I could stay the full week on Mol’Rhian, immerse myself in our people’s way of life, and rendezvous with the warbird once my time at the conference comes to a conclusion?
I understand not everyone will likely appreciate a Rhiannsu in a Starfleet uniform, but I do have more…appealing outfits to wear off duty. I shouldn’t want for an escort on the surface, but perhaps someone who wouldn’t mind showing me around?

With this being an allied conference, we expect their to be a wide variety of uniforms present. Even outside of such a setting, a Starfleet uniform would garner no untoward attention regardless of who happens to wear it.

In the conference I am sure…however some of the officers within the detachment have already informed me a few weeks ago to be careful in what I am wearing outside of official business. so I took that as a sign to pack things less…Starfleet and more ‘civilian’ in nature. Either way, I am beyond excited for this, I will be packing tonight and I’ll see the crew tomorrow!
