Here are those stock discrepancies I mentioned. All together, it’s just eight crates missing (3x grains, 2x water filters, 2x proteins, 1x vitamin supplements) out of thousands that have already passed through. Probably nothing more nefarious than clerical error, but I’d sleep better if we got to the bottom of it.

…checked twice that I had the current version of the list but somehow both crates just vanished. I think somebody must have stuck them in the wrong room but I can’t just go asking door to door, can I?

I’m afraid you were correct to be suspicious, Commander. After figuring out what DSS was (You might want to check in with ops on that, it seems to be a bit out of control at this point), I elected to grab some manifests and compare them to what we have in transient storage.

There are considerably more supplies missing than what you initially sent. Never more than a few crates per shipment, but about 40% of the shipments I checked had missing items. It appears someone is skimming a small amount of material from a large amount of shipments.

I’ll be opening a case file and tasking resources to this. While it’s still theoretically possible it’s all a clerical error, I’m going to move forward assuming it’s not. Error or not, these losses need to be addressed.
