38th Fleet,
I am Vice Admiral Aluk and I have been appointed your Commanding Officer.
I met several of you during the awards ceremony this evening, and I will be meeting many more over the coming days, weeks, and months. The size of the 38th Fleet precludes an individual meeting with all of the personnel under my command. As such, and because experience has shown brevity to be logical in all hands communications, I leave you with the message I delivered earlier this evening:
Your actions contribute to the 38th Fleet’s positive reputation throughout Starfleet. I will endeavor to improve the fleet’s efficiency and ensure its continued success.
