Between the time when Hobus destroyed Romulus, and the rise of the sons of Wrot’Ka, there was an age undreamed of. And unto this, Ninol, destined to wear the jeweled crown of Defera upon a troubled brow. It is I, his chronicler, who alone can tell thee of his saga. Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!

Ninol Xurah has gone down in history as the greatest Deferi warrior to have ever served the Klingon Empire, first and only king of Defera, Ninol died in glorious combat at the Battle of Procyon V. Long before his name went into the history books, he began his career as second officer to a tyrannical Romulan captain aboard a mighty ship of the Klingon Empire but our story does not begin there, this tale begins many years later, on his road to redemption after swearing vengeance upon Strike Force Kargas.

Ambassador Surah, ambassador to foreign delegations wishing to establish diplomatic relations with the Deferi was a married man with three spouses and several children. His youngest and brightest daughter, Naela had enlisted in Starfleet some years ago and was stationed in the Delta Quadrant with Battle Group Omega. It was during this time that one of the most devastating Borg attacks in memory occurred. With a combined Starfleet, Klingon and other Delta Quadrant species, was the Borg menace finally defeated, unfortunately, it was not without it's high costs, including Ambassador Surah's daughter. Desperate to know the fate of his daughter, Surah appealed to his diplomatic contacts but alas, his pleas fell on deaf ears. It was only Ninol who listened to his laments and took it upon himself to find Surah's daughter.

Journeying to the Delta Quadrant, Ninol bested many foes along the way until, finally reaching Unimatrix 0047, the launching point the Borg invasion of the Delta Quadrant. After a fierce battle lasting 20 days and 20 nights, Ninol bests the Borg Queen's hand chosen drone to wage war upon the quadrant by decapitating his foe, thus, ending the Borg menace. WIth the head of his foe in one hand and a bat'leth in the other Ninol rescues Naela and thousands of captured people's who were awaiting assimilation.

So, did Ninol return the wayward daughter of Ambassador Surah to her home. And having no further concern, he and his shipmates sought adventure in the Gamma Quadrant. Many wars and feuds did Ninol fight. Honor and fear were heaped upon his name and, in time, he became a king by his own hand. And this story shall also be told.
