Species: Nexan
1. Saros fruit with folar meat. This would be a somewhat large red fruit that is incredibly spicy, like eating pure chili. The meat is not cooked but has a variety of spices used on it before its ready to be eaten, it also contains metal bones.
2. Razor fruit with unis plants. The fruit contains razor like metal growths, Nexans can eat these without adverse effects. The meat of this fruit would taste much like potatoes with a metal tang to it. The unis plant is a non sentient plant/animal hybrid and is generally eaten while its alive.

'The Taste of Romulus'
Entree: Free range hlai. Superficially similar to the ostrich of Earth, hlai is a common fixture of Romulan cuisine and it's meat can be prepared in a number of ways depending on the occasion. This example is hlai'vnau, a holiday delicacy seasoned to sweet and savory perfection.
Beverage: To drink we offer traditional Rihannsu tarka, served hot*. As old as Romulan civilization itself, tarka may not share the wide spread notoriety of kali-fal (the infamous 'Romulan Ale'), but its bold bittersweet taste is sure to earn it plenty of attention.
Dessert: We complete our themed meal with a true Romulan treat: a classic osol twist. Tart and tangy, there's nothing better to round out our culinary expedition than one of our handmade, old fashioned osol twists.
