"With the consumption of the pill, gentlemen, ma'am, we have simulated the momentous meeting where a single sperm has broken through the tough outer membrane of the egg~"
She sounds far too delighted to inform them of this, her delivery in that sickly sweet tone of someone's who's never met a moment of impatience or wickedness.
"Typically with humans it takes several weeks for confirmation of this wonderful occurrence, but oftentimes there notable signs prior to examination, which we will briefly explore now."
"As Ms. Aster neglected to specify traits of her own early days, we will be simulating based on the human species average. Since every pregnancy is different, even for the same human with the same coupling, so you will each be experiencing slightly different symptoms, rather than those specified by your dear friend and loved one."
"If you will please rise and follow me," The Risan sweeps a gesture along a stone path into the tree line, "We will take a short walk for brunch. Should you notice any peculiar sensations, please share them with your fellow sympathizers."
The 'brunch' area is an outdoor picnic patio, with an arrangement of food and beverages set up on massive curved tables quadsecting the outer edges. Sodas, coffee, beer, wines, cheeses, meats, fish, vegetables, a wide assortment of simple to elaborate meals prelaid for the picking, all predominately human cuisine. Two additional Risan women are present, tending to the tables.
"Please, enjoy."
Coby blinks. And then blinks again. It was either the effort of that strenuous blinking, or something else, but he suddenly found himself pulling up his pocketed hand and drawing it over a burst-yawn. Accompanied with the usual yawning sounds, it lasted only for a few seconds before he shook himself out of it. Offering one more blink.
"Thankyou~! Wait, ... I say, are those pickles there?" Tilting his gaze.

Davin could only shake his head as he followed the oddly enthusiastic Morton to the food. His choice of the cheese plate was not unexpected but the way he held his arms, folded a bit high on his chest, was just a little odd. "Well. So far so good, I guess. Knowing Nethali, I expected to have to run from at least one V-Rex, but this is... actually pretty pleasant."
"Why yes, they are, specially exported from a small religious sect on Earth, who have dubbed them 'kosher'. Please, help yourself. ..and excuse me."
Their Risan guide swoops in on Davin, hands raised to stall disaster should he imbibe of the cheeses. As she explains: "In an age of replicated foods, this is far, far less common, but none the less something to be aware of as an expecting individual. Cheeses, in their unreplicated state, are an animal product, and likely to harbor harmful bacterias for you and your unborn. I'm sorry, but you will have to abstain for the time being, Miss T'Varros."

Kermit casually walks around, surveying the items around the tables. He reaches a section of beverages and promptly snatches up a glass of some sort of soda. As he circles back around, he stops several times as if considering food items, but just sort of scowls at each and moves on. Upon reaching Davin and the holographic woman, he pauses a few steps away, fiddling with his shirt collar and then watching the interaction.
The look on Davins face in light of the Risian woman's revelation shifts quickly, from shock to something more suitably Romulan. "Oh. Oh, she is not getting that child kennel now..." He adjusts his pose, shifting the way his arms rest against on his chest, regarding each item of food laid out with suspicion.
"The alcohol must be off limits too then... No wine, no cheese..." With his eyes on the simulated Risian he reaches for a plate of meat, something he takes to be one of the bird species common to Terran cuisine on a bed of pasta.

Davin's pending doom suitably dissuaded, the Risan flits onwards to Kermit, leaving the Romulan with a warning of: "Please be sure to check the meat for colour before consuming it- pink meats are to be avoided for danger of it being undercooked.
A few steps away, she presents Kermit a similar lecture, but in regards to his beverage of choice:
"Many drinks, such as sodas, coffees, and teas, have diuretic stimulant called 'caffeine'. As a stimulant, it increases your heart rate and blood pressure; both things to be maintained at an even level during your pregnancy. Caffeine also presents a risk of dehydration, as it increases the frequency of urination."
She picks the soda from his hand and sets it aside on one of the conveniently nearby trays held by one of the waitstaff.
"Caffeine is also found or injected into delicacies such as chocolate, so please be aware of what you consume. You may be able to metabolize it, but your baby cannot, Mister Aster."

Kermit looks mildly annoyed as he looks around at the tables full of things that they are now no longer allowed to consume, "Suppose all of this is just for show then, right?"
He doesn't quite wait for a response before moving over to the meat table near 'Miss T'Varros' and reaching for the first plate he sees that isn't red meat.

With a crunch, Coby's bite into the pickle resumed - following a hefty frozen pause during the warning the other two recieved - allowing him to savor the taste, then eventually swallow with a gulp. The remaining portion of the pickle in his hand came up with a swift motion to once again cover a yawn escaping through his stretching mouth. Once the hand is free to be lowered, he swings it around in a point towards the floor, swirling it with his wrist somewhat.
"... Looks so good though, yeah~?! Hmm'mm." concluding with an exhausted puff of his cheeks.

Certain that his portion of bird- something ridiculous that started with a 'c'- was well and truly cooked 'miss' Mandukar dug into his food. His posture remains guarded, the plate held near to him. "How long's she been workin' on this program that it's got my name wrong?" he muses between bites.
"An' what's this 'mister Aster' thing?" Davin gestures with his fork at Kermit, a morsel of meat dripping with a cream sauce stuck on the end of it. "Got enough engineers on D'Ishae already, an' you're not takin' my flight deck chief." The Romulan has no qualms talking with his mouth full.

After yoinking a plate of chicken and pasta off the table, he turns briefly to Davin, flashing a smirk, "Good thing I'm not an engineer."
With that, and possibly with the intention of avoiding any further questions from the Romulan, he's headed back for the Risian woman, "So, what's next on the itinerary?"

"The next segment will be a sampling of healthy, non-strenuous calisthenics. While exercise is encouraged for the duration of expectancy, elevated heart rate and vigorous movement is not. We have a variety of human-suitable activities on the schedule once you are all suitably fed."
