Lieutenant,

As I was leaving my office last night I did so with a stack of PADDs. Unfortunately in the course of my commute to my quarters with the PADD stack, the top PADD fell off of the PADD stack and struck the floor. When I was able to inspect the PADD back at my quarters I discovered the display wasn't functioning in a manner that a PADD would. I was curious if you could take this PADD down to engineering and to one of their PADD technicians to see about a fix for the PADD that it might re-enter it's service.
