Rumor has it that there's a half-Romulan pirate known only as "V" wreaking havoc on barges in the Aldebaran sector. Someone who saw her says that she's barely sixteen.

Rumor has it following the Alpha shift change over, the fish in the promenade tank were found dead, and apparently replaced with holograms...which seem to malfunction into rotating often.
Having had the fish since restocked with live ones in the promenade, Captain Konieczko ordered the water temperature to be increased as a slave looked on in horror. The tank was later cleaned of bodies aside from one garishly colorful fish that was left belly up.

Rumor has it, that the ISS Scharnhorst's Chief Medical Officer passed away suddenly of natural causes in his sleep, according to the new Chief Medical Officer anyway.

Rumor has it that 'Captain Konieczko Presents: Bloodbath - A Love Untold' has been put on hold for rewrites after an early rehearsal of the production turned into an actual bloodbath. One slave has died from extensive trauma and blood loss and another two are expected to die from blood poisoning.

Rumor has it Slavemaster Ryan, interpreting his orders from command somewhat loosely, arranged for a good old-fashioned slave fight in the lower core section of the station this morning. The combatants included Serzin Nen, a Trill sanitation worker, and Sivath, a Vulcan engineer. The organizers armed the combatants with pointed sticks and ordered them to fight to the death. Betting amongst the audience members favored the Vulcan 2:1.
As expected, Sivath prevailed, though not without a few wounds of his own. Threatened with death if he did not finish Nen off, Sivath delivered the coup de grace and then cradled the Trill in his arms as Nen bled out. The Vulcan is reported to have wept like a baby until he was dragged away to the interrogation rooms.
At midday, the slaves, denied rations and in a state of agitation, held a memorial for Serzin Nen in the dormitories. The absence of Healer V’lol was noted, to the disappointment of many. Sivath is known to have been in attendance. Although some shunned him, others were seen to be offering him support and reassurance that it wasn’t his fault.
When the wake began to turn rowdy and some slaves started to advocate for reprisal against Slavemaster Ryan or even open revolt, Sivath joined the voices arguing for restraint and patience. “Not now,” Sivath is said to have urged the crowd. “Not when they’re expecting it.”

Rumor has it the slaves and the free people of the lower levels are starting to notice the absence of the 'Angel of the Warrens', further inflaming an already agitated population.

Rumor has it that Sivath has become known among the station's slave population as a collaborator of the cruel Imperial Starfleet administration. He is alleged to have named names of fellow slaves to save his own neck, to have earned his private quarters by informing to the station CO, to have counseled against uprising on explicit instructions from the masters, and to have murdered Serzin Nen for their entertainment and his own profit. He is persona non grata to all but a few who still believe his side of the story, and even those are wary of being associated with him further.

Rumour has it the Angel of the Warrens was killed earlier today as she attempted to escape capture by station authorities. Multiple witnesses saw V'lol being shot by Isadora. Her body appeared to be disintegrated.
Her last words were, "Spock was correct, defiance or death!"

Rumor has it that while all this intrigue has been going on on-station, Captain Kelda had a potted plant delivered to his office on the ISS Betazed - oddly enough, by Inquisitor Ailes. The plant had a large, red bow attached to it. It was a very pretty plant.

Spock & The Angel are starting to become popular graffiti tags in the lower levels. So's the phrase 'Spock Was Right'.

Rear Admiral Desimone spent time drinking some of The Green Stuff alone in the cantina, and seemed to be in a somewhat dour, one might even say sad, mood.

On the other hand, Inquisitor Beylara Ailes seems to be in a really, really good mood. Anyone who saw her the night before wouldn't dare call her intoxicated--she certainly wasn't drunk, but there was the influence of something going on there--and there was an entire list_of_backstabbers.txt to interrogate ahead of her!

Commodore Quint was released from an agony booth after thirty minutes. The keepers reported he was indeed in pain, and were even taking bets on how high they could push it in the time frame they were given. Apparently some of the Templar crew arrived towards the last ten minutes. They waited patiently at the door until the time was completed.
At the end when they opened the door he dropped to his knees, muttering something, neigher guard understood. When he was done he stood...stretched and stalked off saying "Nam Imperii."
One guard reportedly said "That man's just not right in the head.

Rumor has it there's been 'Angel' sightings as the authorities crack down on the slaves and begin a systematic campaign of terror in the lower levels. However the description is not always consistent.
This also coincides with the disappearances of a handful of key elders and leaders of the lower warrens.

Rumor has it that shortly after the explosion on-station (and completely unrelated, scouts honor), ISS Betazed transported a number of slaves to Battlestation Argo from their brig.
