"That's what killed her?"
"This? Nah, this was on a xeno at the scene. Master Sergeant Callahan dropped it off a few hours ago."
"Really? I'm surprised she didn't add it to her collection."
"Knowing her, she's already got a bucket of them. Either way, we're under orders to examine it thoroughly."
"And return it if it's cleared?"
"She didn't say."

Rumor has it that one Caitian carried off a daring escape from the Axiom.
The officers that failed to stop her seemed quite amused. When questioned, confirmed that "Mittens" could have left without theatrics at any time after Rear Admiral Desimone's death.
The only items missing from the Admiral's quarters were Naarra's enlistment papers, one silk robe and a turquoise collar with a bell.

It is said that Inquisitor Ailes was seen wobbling through the station--but not in the direction of her quarters. Blood streaked down her nose and onto her shirt, but she didn't seem to notice. Reports indicate that her mood grew increasingly pleasant as people saw her.

The I.S.S. Harrington has been reported as being en route to Battlestation Argo...Rumour has it her new assignment to the sector is an attempt by the admiralty to insulate themselves from Captain Terrell "Terror" Trainer's obvious ambitions for "promotion".....
A new batch of Slaves have been deposited aboard Battlestation Argo, among them a Tellarite who constantly mumbles to himself; likely a result of his slave conditioning.

Rumor has it that Admiral Perim met with Fleet Admiral Simon O'Brien of the 37th Fleet today.
In a baffling turn of events, shortly after this meeting, the Fleet Admiral announced his voluntary reduction to Vice Admiral and the merging of the 37th Fleet's ships into the 38th Battle Fleet, effectively doubling the unit's operational size. An organizational memo has gone out to clarify the situation. Those ships that were formerly attached to the 37th will report to Vice Admiral O'Brien, while original 38th ships continue to report to Rear Admiral Quint. Both flag officers, in turn, report directly to Admiral Perim.
The sector is abuzz with rumors about this consolidation of forces. Various tales of blackmail and conspiracy and seduction are being whispered alongside less credible claims ranging from "imperial downsizing" to the Trill Admiral simply being exceptionally persuasive.
