Today I arrived to the 38th and had my interview with one of the Admirals. He seemed surprised that I would request a transfer to the 38th Fleet when usually transfers such as this are generally decided upon.
I cannot go into full details as to why I transferred to this fleet shortly after being offered command of a Miranda Class vessel. What I can share in these logs is that I needed a change of scenery. I needed a new sector of space to explore and one that was away from the memories of my past.
Upon arrival, I was made aware of the fleet-wide summer leave to Risa and was invited to attend the festivities. Perhaps after my ship has been fully accommodated within the fleet I shall join them. I just hope we can hide the damned tribbles from the ship inspections. They sure seem to be plentiful this time of year.
When I return, I’m sure I will have something to share about my trip to Risa.
