BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS

Zirao enlisted in Starfleet in 2391. Trained in squad combat and tactics, she served on several starships as an Away Mission Specialist, tasked with the protection of the officers she accompanied. While on leave on Andor in 2397, she found herself unexpectedly with child despite being well outside the 'fertility period' that usually restricts Andorian reproduction. She took a sabbatical from Starfleet as a result, returning to service in late 2400. Between 2400 and 2407, she was assigned to the Federation offices on Andor as a bodyguard to the Andorian Ambassador to the Federation Council, a posting that kept her close to her bondmates and young child. In 2407, with growing tensions in the Quadrant, Starfleet reassigned numerous officers and enlisted personnel to the newly rejuvenated MACOs, and Zirao was among their number. Since then, she has been deployed in nearly every major ground engagement in the past decade, as well as several boarding actions and a prolonged deployment to Gamma Orionis to combat the Borg threat there.
