EVALUATOR'S NAME: Sedai, Katriel E.
AUTHORITY: Head of Counseling, Deep Space 13
SUBJECT'S NAME: Jarnefelt, Charlotte
INTERVIEW STARDATE: ((6 Jan 2019))
PURPOSE AND CONTEXT OF EVALUATION
Determine subject's state of mental health for restoration to active duty.
CONCLUSION
Authority finds subject to be of sound mental health and fit for active duty.
DISCUSSION
Subject demonstrated no symptoms of trauma, possibly due to role as physician, which gave her some sense of purpose, even if it wasn't easy to fulfill. Subject felt somewhat sheltered as the lowest-ranking officer, as the captors' focus was more on her superiors.

EVALUATOR'S NAME: Sedai, Katriel E.
AUTHORITY: Head of Counseling, Deep Space 13
SUBJECT'S NAME: Vangilder, Alexander
INTERVIEW STARDATE: ((7 Jan 2019))
PURPOSE AND CONTEXT OF EVALUATION
Determine subject's state of mental health for restoration to active duty.
CONCLUSION
Authority finds subject to be of insufficient mental health and therefore not fit for active duty at this time.
Re-evaluation recommended in one month.
Strongly recommending weekly counseling with PTSD specialist. Authority will also be placing subject on priority medical holodeck-use list.
DISCUSSION
Subject demonstrated several pronounced symptoms of continued trauma, including unsteady voice, frequent stutter, and avoiding eye contact. Subject's experience during internment left him feeling largely like a hindrance, though he does not specifically regret any actions, and he remains anxious about any undiscovered effects of the neural probing.

Spoiler: Kermit, JamesShow
EVALUATOR'S NAME: Sedai, Katriel E.
AUTHORITY: Head of Counseling, Deep Space 13
SUBJECT'S NAME: Kermit, James
INTERVIEW STARDATE: ((8 Jan 2019))
PURPOSE AND CONTEXT OF EVALUATION
Determine subject's state of mental health for restoration to active duty.
CONCLUSION
Authority finds subject to be of sound mental health and fit for active duty.
However, authority strongly recommends a period of 2-3 weeks of leave prior to resuming service.
DISCUSSION
Minimal symptoms of trauma observed, due to subject's significant time spent incapacitated during imprisonment, which ultimately minimized his exposure to traumatic events. Chief concern is how subject will manage and process the emotions he experienced in reaction to fellow prisoner actions, rather than anything inflicted by the captors.

PURPOSE AND CONTEXT OF EVALUATION
Determine subject's state of mental health for restoration to active duty.
CONCLUSION
Authority finds subject to be of sound mental health and fit for active duty.
DISCUSSION
Subject demonstrated no symptoms of trauma. Subject's mannerisms were identical to previously logged profile assessments and he had no difficulties with processing and recollecting events from imprisonment. Subject was largely, if not totally, disinterested in emotional reflection of any kind, focused wholly on his future responsibilities both major and minor.

EVALUATOR'S NAME: Sedai, Katriel E.
AUTHORITY: Head of Counseling, Deep Space 13
SUBJECT'S NAME: Ailes, Beylara
INTERVIEW STARDATE: ((10 Jan 2019))
PURPOSE AND CONTEXT OF EVALUATION
Determine subject's state of mental health for restoration to active duty.
CONCLUSION
Authority finds subject to be of insufficient mental health and therefore not fit for active duty at this time.
Re-evaluation recommended in one month.
DISCUSSION
Subject is doing her best to carry on normally, but is afflicted by high tension and faces the majority of inquiries into her welfare with an on-edge sort of containment. Her recitation of events during imprisonment was largely clinical, but not accepting or well-integrated, and she retains strong feelings of misgiving regarding many separate incidents during the time period. This is likely largely due to the subject's feeling of being primarily responsible for the welfare and actions of all her fellow prisoners, due to seniority/rank.
Authority notes that the subject's behavior in all other respects is comparatively normal. Authority's opinion is that subject is likely already tracking to full recovery, she merely requires more time, as expected with consideration for species normals.

Spoiler: Levesley, WilliamShow
EVALUATOR'S NAME: Sedai, Katriel E.
AUTHORITY: Head of Counseling, Deep Space 13
SUBJECT'S NAME: Levesley, William
INTERVIEW STARDATE: ((12 Jan 2019))
PURPOSE AND CONTEXT OF EVALUATION
Determine subject's state of mental health for restoration to active duty.
CONCLUSION
Authority finds subject to be of sound mental health and fit for active duty, with reservations. See discussion section.
DISCUSSION
Subject possesses a fairly pragmatic view of his recent experience, neither overly emotional nor excessively closed off. During imprisonment, subject's focus understandably narrowed to primary goals of survival and escape and through this framework, he neither questions nor regrets choices and actions made and is generally ready to move forward with his return. Authority would normally have considered the subject to have, without question, properly integrated his experience and be otherwise fit for duty, were it not for the subject's admittance to committing an act of violence out of anger, rather than self-defense or necessity, during his imprisonment.
Given the extraordinary circumstances of mental adversity and hardship in which the act of violence should be carefully contextualized, the authority considers the subject's loss of control to be emotionally justifiable, if not necessarily reproachable.
The authority's reservations lie outside of the immediate context of the subject's recent captivity. There exists an outlying question as to whether or not the subject potentially possesses either previously sustained emotional trauma or a personal philosophical worldview that he readily utilizes as permission to engage in more brutal tactics when it comes to enemy hostiles. This is beyond counseling's scope to examine. The authority concludes that a separate Command investigation that analyzes the subject's record in its entirety and especially any patterns in his attitude towards non-allies, would perhaps not be without merit.
