I wish this message was under better circumstance but the 38th fleet has received verified intelligence that New Circini may be the target of an attack to take place stardate 96161.6. We've determined the attacker to be the Confederacy of Azed, a collective of species based to New Circini's galactic west.
The 38th fleet will be moving a task force of vessels near or with approval inside your system to provide assistance in repelling these attackers who we know to travel by functional wormhole and posses weapons capable of disrupting warp travel. To put it to scale this is the power that disrupted operation of Deep Space 13 approximately 2 years ago.
Let me fully state that it is our intention to respect the sovereignty of New Circini but this threat is significant and we stand ready to assist.
