Mogai Class Heavy Warbird
Built in response to the Federation's Sovereign class and the Klingon Negh'Var, the Mogai class was produced in great numbers, quickly eclipsing the older D'Deridex (especially after many of the latter were lost in the Dominion War). The Nihnakelh ("decisive, final") was constructed in 2378, after the war's end, and served the Star Empire faithfully for many years. In 2411, her commander and crew decided their true loyalty was to the Romulan people and defected to the Republic.
