Part of the a joint project between the allied Starfleet and Romulan Republic forces, this ship class possesses an advanced emitter that can emit a dense field of tachyons attuned to the shield frequencies of the vessel and those of its allies while hindering those it finds itself in combat with.
Tagor is a newly commissioned science vessel, pulled off the line shortly before being sent to the 11th fleet for her first assignment. Sent to replace the damaged Aensai, this vessel is far more suited for Commander Thue's scientific research. It possesses many full-scale dedicated laboratories.
