Additionally, before you read the message again, for the first time, let me cover a few other concerns.
1 - I am an admin, and this is an admin policy. Technically, the Lurking Guide was written by Kermit (also an admin) and nothing is changed or modified from that. I am simply reminding everyone that it exists.
2- I have seen more than one private comment from fleet members saying "this always bugged me, thank you for doing this". So, if your stance on this reminder of a guide that has always existed is that it never bugged anyone before. It has, they simply haven't spoken up about it.
3 - The guide is a guide. It does not give hard fast rules with consequences for doing otherwise. The reason for this is because we don't have to. We have a great playerbase with respectful individuals and an ever-growing community. The admins don't need to post what specific lurking suits are allowed and not. I am fully confident that everyone can take a step back, assess what they are wearing and wonder if it would be normal on a Federation starbase, given the players means to produce various outfits. All we are asking is that people try and respect the visuals of the Federation starbase environment, as best they can.
4 (last one, promise) - Not trying to disrupt fun, trying to preserve the RP immersion of high RP location. If you feel that you absolutely have to wear a costume that doesn't fit in, then please tuck yourself under the bridge so that other people don't have to observe your avatar.
Thanks for the support with this.

Spoiler: Original Game Fleet-MailShow
Argo Fleetmates,
Hey there folks, I'm back, and am sending out mass fleet-mails again. You're welcome.
Really though, there is something that I have seen since getting back that has surprised me a bit. Mostly, it has been a lower level of courtesy to the RP locations by those lurking the maps.
Specifically, I am talking about lurkers on the starbase doing things that detract from the general IC atmosphere of the fleet, like dancing, standing in odd places, or wearing outfits that would be unlikely to be found on a Federation starbase.
Now, I understand that not everyone has access to the MACO armor, and that is ok. But there are multiple avatar costumes that can work for being appropriate for the starbase. At a bare minimum the EV suit is fine.
If anyone is unfamiliar with lurking etiquette, I recommend you take a look at the great guide that Kermit put out on the site: http://argo.enjin.com/forum/m/6618775/viewthread/28148090-lurking-visual-guide
Thanks for the help, and please let me know if you have any questions,
Dae
