Rumor has it that there’s actually a rumor about Lieutenant Commander Aurelia t’Veras she hasn’t been able to staunch, but nobody is able to say what the rumor is.
Rumor has it that LCDR Jeiliscia Valusia ( CMO of the USS Hornet ) and LT David Yalowitz ( Staff Doctor at ESD ) got engaged at Risa.
No one is quite sure who proposed to whom though, but it seems David was intent on proposing using the Earthling Tradition with an engagement ring but was seemingly circumvented when Jeiliscia whipped out a necklace of belonging and recited a modified version of the High Orion ritual of claiming minus the parts about the male being “property”. She did leave in the part about “cherishing your mistress” and something about frequent foot rubs, though witnesses on hand with a grasp of Orion rituals and the High Kolari language seem to think the foot rubs part was another modification.
Rumor has it the bridge and frigate operations station aboard the U.S.S. Hornet had to be cleansed of the smell of burnt popcorn. How someone burned popcorn using a replicator is anyone’s guess…
Rumour has it that in the early afternoon yesterday (21st of August 2424), a nurse from the U.S.S. Defender was admitted to sickbay after suffering what is being reported as a cuteness overload, much to the giggles and jokes of the other medical staff, and the embarrassment of the nurse who was brought in.
In addition to this Defender crew has apparently been asking around about the noises coming from the Captain’s quarters, with an increase in mewing and purring as well as the addition of crying. With some crew also trying to find out who won the baby pool, both for the date and the gender of the new arrivals, and even if their Captain was able to attend the birth.
Rumour has it that there were angry scenes in the medical bay on the U.S.S. Endeavour when news reached them of Major Valencia’s injuries…
Rumor has it DS13’s resident Federation Ambassador made a point of assigning her entire staff a series of work-intensive tasks related to ongoing Azedi diplomatic matters, effectively ensuring that none of them could possibly attend the IDKA celebration this evening.
She did order them takeout in the office as consolation, though.
Rumor has it that the First Contact / Diplomatic Mission to Kryvelar has taken a rather “explosive” detour…
Rumours from the starbase suggest unusual activity within the Office of the Admiralty. A substantial increase of closed-door meetings, circulating plans, and confidential documents indicate that something large is afoot…
Rumor has it, that a holoprogram that puts the user in the role of Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty has been the most popular program aboard the USS Hornet as of late. The most twisted story path was created by none other than Captain Vel herself…
…. Heavy communication traffic has been rerouted through strategic operations as late night orders of food deliveries have been sent up to the Operations center.
Rumor has it a tongo set was replicated aboard the USS Lernaean and lovingly placed in Commander zh’Vhenda’s quarters…
Rumour has it that certain members in the Admiralty Office haven’t been seen in days…
Rumor has it that a certain Captain of the USS Hornet and a certain Commander of the USS Roosevelt are now engaged…!
Rumor has it that a certain liberated borg tactical officer aboard the Romulan flagship has been secretly taking acting and drama lessons on the holodeck.
Rumour has it that the Office of the Admiralty have been using code names for all their meetings. The issue is that nobody seems to know what the codes mean; everyone is just pretending they do…
Rumour has it that Admiral Bishop has just returned from a high-profile meeting with Starfleet Command on Earth…
For the first time in several months, long-range communications network experiences a slightly increased traffic between various points across the most extreme extent of Khitomer Alliance. A number of comm packages seem to bounce back and forth between the Telek Station at the edge of Centaurus Expanse in Delta Quadrant, rerouted through both Dyson Spheres to Deep Space 7 in Mempa Sector. From there, traffic bounces off to Deep Space 13, Aldebaran Sector. The same data packages continue their journey towards Starbase 432 in Wayfearer Expanse and three days later, they travel slightly modified to Starbase Archer in Zenas Expanse, passing through the Looking Glass Anomaly, yet another bridge between the Milky Way and PTX-1138 “The Outback”, to their next destination, Starbase 381 Praetorian. Then, they are transmitted via Caspian Wormhole to New Australia Comm Array in Sierra Sector, forwarded a specially configured transwarp gate leading to another extra-Milky Way region, Idris March in Centaurus-A galaxy, and Starfleet’s bastion there, Starbase Tempest. From there, they are returning back to the Telek Station in Centaurus Expanse, again via transwarp in Sol and the two Dyson Spheres.
