Rumor has it... (IC)

This thread is for posting publicly circulated dirt on your OWN characters or NPC'd characters. This is to avoid dramallamaing.

That said, use this thread to post gossip, hearsay and eye-witness tales that might get circulated around the water cooler.

Evidently, Chassy S. Quaen has talked herself onto the U.S.S. Toronto as ship's science officer under Acting Captain Sundman, just days prior to their diplomatic departure to speak with Iskeran representatives about the rogue Commodore.
.....Since Freighters have begun disappearing more frequently along the route to Outpost Argo, word is that Freighter Captains
are demanding higher wages.......again.
Commander Sierra, the acting captain of the U.S.S. Honshu (stationed at Argo), has rumored to have visited the sickbay 52 times in the last 3 months; citing physical trauma as well as several cases of severe ear damage. All have been explained as "Holodeck injuries."
Rumor has it that the tachyonic weapons fitted to the Semmelweis are part of a Starfleet plan to send TFA ships back in time to stop R'zo-vek before he can perform his famous reactor heist.
Rumor has it that Xygor'khan's disappearance is actually due to the fact that he was murdered by an Orion Escort as a result of a dispute of payment following the completion of services.
Rumor has it that Commander Zyzeph, second-in-command to Captain Skyleigh Atkinson of the U.S.S. Kingdom A. Has been reporting to the Sickbay 48 times in the past 5 months due to an ''old injury'' from ''several years'' ago.
Word around the maintenance levels is that Ackbar is still in regular touch with the former Commodore Razor and is feeding him information about the Task Force's attempts to locate him, which is helping him stay ahead of pursuit. Theories for Ackbar's motivations range from outstanding gambling debts to the station's most popular chef being one of the former Commodore's undoubtedly numerous illegitimate offspring. Maintenance Team 42 leader Chief Patrick Davenport is quoted as saying "that's idiotic" and "get back to work" when asked by subordinates to weigh in on the rumours.
Rumor has it that Lieutenant Commander Natalie Hennsburg has been believed to of been at the scene of a bombing accident on Earth. The only evidence to show this is a photograph of the incident which is slightly blurred and is a little pixelated due to the damage but experts are trying to recover the image. It's rumored there is a 50-74 percent chance it might be her although the time stamp of 15:50 pm contradicts the area the Lieutenant Commander Hennsburg was at as she was with her CO's Commander T'Lat and Captain Skyleigh Atkinson. Captain Atkinson has dismissed the statement and from what others have seen, whispered something into the ears of those spreading the rumor.
Rumour has it that Commander Lawson, XO of the Yamato, has recently moved out of her quarters. No-one seems to know where to, and Captain Boyson is surprisingly mute on this point.
Rumor has it that witnesses have come forward baring descriptions of who the bomber was. Brown hair, blue eyes and a Trill like appearance. The witness description comes quite close to a Starfleet Lieutenant Commander working within Task Force Argo which too match supposed Lieutenant Commander Natalie Hennsburg. Not too long ago these witnesses were found dead from phaser wounds.
Rumour has it that Commodore Ashworth has voiced displeasure with the tone and quantity of the idle speculation circulating around the outpost. Sources close to the commodore seem convinced that increased training regiments will be mandated in the near future to reduce the number of opportunities officers have to engage in gossip.
Rumor has it that the U.S.S. October hasn't reported in in the last two communication checkpoints, due to an accident in the main comm systems computer on a routine maintenance upgrade - Which as a result has been said to have deactivated the ships positioning and navigational beacon. Yet, more suspiciously, the ships positioning beacon was last seen active several hours before the said upgrade/maintenance occurred.

- Starfleet personnel on duty at that time have been requested to keep matters under their hats.
The door to Nethali Aster's quarters were- unusually- locked for most of the day. A short-haired woman in sketchy civilian attire left a little past dinner, referred to by Nethali, with a grimace, as 'an old friend from home'.
Apparently, Captain Boyson was attacked in his quarters...by the mirror version of himself. He has been strangely mute on this, and no security team was dispatched.
Commander No'nara t'Vetruvis, of the Romulan Republic, has had a change of command. She has been removed as the commanding officer of the Haakona Class, RRW S'Harian. Instead, she now commands a captured Tal Shiar vessel rechristened the RRW Te'kai.

Rumor has it this change is not, exactly, a demotion. The Te'kai is said to be a combination of Romulan and Borg technology. Further... it is rumored that there are Federation officers assigned to the ship as observers. This is, supposedly, to make sure the ship is working as intended and the Borg technology doesn't reassert itself. It is also stated that these Federation crewmembers are assisting the Romulan Republic in using, and understanding Borg technology.
Rumor has it that the KDF have finally completed fully repairing the I.K.S. LUKARA after it’s significant battle with the U.S.S. GLADIATOR in which General Wrot’Ka son of Krett was killed and the ship was severely damaged. The battle resulted in the death of over 900 Klingon Warriors.

"CRUSADE"

Rumors as to why the LUKARA was repaired rather than scrapped, given the extensive damage, range from petitions from Strike Force: Kargas to devious plotting by Commandant Riles. Though, nothing has been confirmed by SFI.

Rumors as to who will command the ship and what it’s assignment will be are too numerous for intelligence agents to ascertain and decide which one holds the most credibility. Several indicators point towards the LUKARA being assigned to security patrols for Forward Operating Base: Kargas and possibly serving as a training vessel under the supervision of General Kul vav ghajbe'.

It should be noted that these rumors about the ship’s assignment and reasons for repair are, as of yet, unsubstantiated.
Rumor has it, a vessel wanted by the Federation along with the Gorn Hegemony has recently crossed into the Eta Eridani sector. The vessel, a stolen Gorn science vessel heavily modified for combat, was attacked by a Ferengi hired Nausicaan strike force, seeking the major bounty amassed on whoever the commanding officer is., however the strike force returned reporting major malfunctions to their computer cores but nearly no damage to their hull.
Commander Varo'then is rumored missing after a supposed encounter with a Tal Shiar cruiser.... speculation has surfaced that he may be en route to New Romulus in a damaged ship with many casualties....
Rumor has it, the vessel, U.S.S. Borealis, captained by Solvust, left Argo station without any warning. (Ammount of time redacted for sake of unfinished RP) hours later, the Borealis returned to dock, however no crew on board answered as to why they left.
