S.C.S. Shal Tek
The S.C.S. Shak Tek is a Suliban Cell Ship, in Privateer Service sponsored by the Suliban Helix and Romulan Republic. Cell Ships are constructed of various ‘Pods’ or ‘Modules’ which are typically circular in shape and range in size from 4 to 40 meters in diameter. The Main Control Module is the largest and is located in the center tying together the conjoined pieces into the makeup of the ship itself, which tends to take on the form of a terrestrial cephalopod.
The S.C.S. Shal Tek is comprised of a total of 5 40-meter Pods (one Command Pod and 4 Cargo Pods) as well as a complement of over 100 5-meter multi-purpose nodes that make up the “Arms” of the ship, as well as 8 5-meter veil drones which supplement propulsion and defense. All of these nodes connect to the Command Pod in 8 chain like arms (15-20 nodes per arm) with a single drone at the end.

[Romulan Plasma Weapons]
The Shal Tek is equipped with a Fore and Aft Romulan Plasma Beam Array allowing for a 360* arc of protection; as well as a Fore Romulan Hyper-Plasma Torpedo Launcher , however it has a limited stock of munitions it can hold at a time. -
[Romulan Singularity Core]
The Shal Tek is also equipped with Romulan Singularity Core, which allows it to perform a Singularity Jump on a full charge of its singularity core, allowing it to escape many hazardous situations. However, there is a structural integrity risk when performing this connected with a full cargo load. -
[Suliban Nodes/Fighter Drones]
The composition of the node ‘arms’ can be controlled from the Command Pod, allowing for a wide range of applications, such as moving spatial objects, shielding, or even ‘grappling’ items or smaller craft. If the Shal Tek fully ‘wraps’ a small vessel (shuttlecraft or escape pod in size) it can envelop its shields over the craft. The supplemental Drones are each equipped with a tractor beam allowing for better ‘grabbing’, as well as a single Plasma Turret. These remote craft’s engines can be used in conjunction with the Shal Tek to increase its speed, or can be detached and programed to perform a verity of tasks, such as defense of the ship, or even to haul off Cargo Pods away from the Command Pod in case of emergency.
