BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS

Sebastian Alexander Bishop is the firstborn son of the Bishop family, son of the three-time Commander in Chief, Alexander Michael Bishop.

Seb was the perfect child, excelling in his studies and being skilled in many different areas. At 18, he applied and instantly was accepted, into Starfleet Academy. Seb was on the USS Endeavour as part of his studies when it was called to battle the Borg at the battle of Wolf 359. Despite him only being a cadet, Seb played a vital part in the battle on the Endeavour and his actions ensured that out of the 40 ships that fought, the Endeavour was the only one that survived. He would receive the UFP Medal of Honor for his actions. This encounter with the Borg so early on in his career would cement the lifelong obsession with the Borg.

Returning to Earth, he declined the offer to suspend his studies and ended up graduating at the top of his class. He was then assigned to the USS Enterprise. His stellar rise would continue for the next six years on the Enterprise before being offered a Command role on the USS Vespasian, which he gladly accepted. Once again, his bravery, determination and drive saw him excel in a very difficult posting. In 2381, the Vespasian encountered the Borg; the following battle destroyed the ship and lead to the assimilation of a third of the crew. The captain of the USS Vespasian placed Seb in charge of the evacuation and initiated the self-destruct, preferring to go down with the ship.

Following this and the subsequent promotion, Seb declined an offer to captain various starships, instead, taking another First Officer posting on the USS Diocletian. His five-year tenure here rounded Seb out as a commander and a diplomat, finally being promoted to Captain and taking on command of the USS Endeavour in 2386, achieving a dream that he had ever since he was a little child.

His promotion to Rear Admiral, however, came as a surprise, and he was effectively ordered to relinquish command of a ship that he had dreamed of commanding ever since he was born, and instead posted as an Ambassador to Vulcan. It was during this time he met and married his wife, Rachael.

After only a year here, Seb jumped at a chance at promotion to Vice Admiral and accepted a posting to Starfleet Command, where he would work in the tactical department. He would remain here for the next twenty years, playing a crucial role in the turbulent decades prior and after the end of the century.

In 2411, with a career spanning almost 40 years, in which time he had outstripped, outshone and surpassed any Bishop before him, became one of the legends of the Federation, a textbook study, and a household name, Seb was promoted to Fleet Admiral, placed as head of Borg Operations.

In 2415, Seb turned down an opportunity to become the Commander in Chief, citing that "Whilst it was an honour to be chosen for this role, his work as head of Borg Operations was more important to the Federation."

Whilst there are no official confirmations as yet, there are rumours that he will be accepting the role in 2420.

However, in 2417, he went missing, presumed dead, when his ship completely disappeared.
