BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

One of several cats implanted with Borg technology by former Tal Shiar scientist Kirina t'Nalah, Second of Four, Primary Thermal Inducer of SubMatrix Zero Two has stood out due to his unique modifications. Having been fitted with a vocal subprocessor Duo has the unique ability to speak, a fact which often surprises newcomers to DS-13 and those unfamiliar with him.

Thorough analysis has determined that Duo, like the other implanted cats, pose no significant threat of assimilation to any station personnel or visitors. While the cats are able to network into a self-contained submatrix they seem disinclined to do so, and it is believed that their feline neurology is incompatible with the Borg Collective.

With Dr. t'Nalah's departure from the station, Duo was put up for adoption along with many of the other modified cats. At present Duo is owned by Lieutenant Douglas Maxwell of Deep Space 13.
